NHD State Competition

Donation protected
My name is Finn Kaste. I am an 8th grader in Korematsu Middle School in El Cerrito CA. For National History Day I worked solo on a stop motion documentary on the Pullman Strike in iMovie. I did a documentary because documentaries are really interesting, informative, and easy to follow; more so than a news article or anything you read. Stop motion because, on top of having done it before, it’s a really fun and original way to make your documentary project. And I did the Pullman Strike because I find the labor movement very interesting. I also love riding on trains so the history behind the train is very fun to study.

I won in the county competition so I will be attending the state competition in May. I am raising funds for this competition. I am looking for 90 dollars to cover the registration fee plus $30 for travel expenses, so would you please be kind enough to make a small donation? It doesn’t have to be much I’m just looking for a total of 120 dollars.
